Sisban has concluded another joint venture with one of the best known frozen fruits and vegeta-bles suppliers in Egypt. This new partnership focuses on supplying our UK and European super-market customers with frozen products such as strawberries, blueberry, raspberry, mangos and broccoli.
This project was a challenge for Sisban, being in a completely new sector that we have not previ-ously worked in. We worked extensively in close cooperation with our new partners to identify product certification requirements and prepare their facilities to be ready to export products to some of our very well-known supermarkets clients. We have now opened dialog with these cus-tomers to supply them with these new products and have started tendering with two pre-eminent supermarkets in the EU for delivery in 2021.
