Omar Shawky
Chief Investment Officer
Sisban’s Chief Investment Officer, Omar Shawky, has over 23 years of global experience in the investment banking and financial advisory industry. After shuttling between the Los Angeles and New York offices of Morgan Stanley, he moved to the Middle East and established Rosetta Advisory, a boutique financial advisory firm that established an impressive record of 33 M&A transactions in Egypt, KSA, Turkey, Algeria, Qatar and USA across 21 different sectors.
Omar transcends the role of a typical investment banker and works hand-in-hand with the management of companies to lead their operational transformation to meet financial and strategic objectives. His specialisation in real estate and agriculture attracted him to Sisban, where he identified the potential in its essential DNA.
Omar holds an MBA in Finance from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the American University in Cairo (AUC).
